Your job
You will be a Cloud Security Analyst in the Information Protection team that is part of the CISO (Corporate Information Security Office) Cyber Defence department, with a focus on the analysing data from various shadowIT components like cloud apps, SaaS, etc and convert them into insights to improve the management of Shadow IT. This role requires an analytical mindset and the ability to judge the risks posed by use of cloud apps/services/SaaS. You will be communicating with multiple stakeholders and end users at all levels of seniority throughout the bank so good interpersonal skills will be a huge plus. You will identify areas for improvements, being critical to ensure that issues are resolved or assigned with right parties. In addition, you will enjoy actively sharing learning with your colleagues so we can all develop together. We will also support your learning path.
What does your working day look like?
- The team works according to the DevOps & Agile methodology.
- You are working on handling analysis part of ShadowIT management.
- You will make sure that our services are up and running. Occasionally there are incidents that occur that you are going to investigate.
- For your work you often engage with various stakeholders such as other IT departments, business colleagues and end users.
Working environment
You will work at CISO (Corporate Information Security Office) within the Cyber Defence grid. Your colleagues in Information Protection team ensure that the information of the bank is protected from misuse and cyber-attacks. CISO employs approximately 450 colleagues who are responsible for the bank's information security globally, across all subsidiaries and countries. The Cyber Defence department is responsible for the security operational activities of ABN AMRO, and your team continuously mature in the protecting data and managing ShadowIT of ABN AMRO.
Your profile
Must haves:
- University degree, preferably in computer science, cyber security or other
- Atleast 1 year experience working in Cyber Security.
- Good data analysis or gap analysis skills.
- Knowledge on fundamentals of Security.
- Knowledge of web proxy concepts, SaaS, cloud apps, web ports and protocols.
- Hands-on, self-organized, willing to finish and deliver (execution power)
- Ambition to grow into cyber security professional, likes to have fun because we are a fun loving team.
Nice to have:
- Security certifications – Basic or Cloud Security specific
