As a Domain Architect for Pensions, you play a key role in realizing an innovative and efficient architecture that helps us achieve this goal. What you are going to do

You enter the complex environment of Pensions, where you deal with a large number of stakeholders, from IT to Marketing, from Sales to Operations, and where alignment with other business units of NN Group is crucial for success. From strategy to execution; you have an opinion, speak out, set the course, and connect processes, data, systems, and infrastructure. You bring speed and quality to IT development, with a focus on flexibility and adaptability.

Integration and Coherence: Ensuring coherence and integration between different architectural layers and technology stack(s).

Solution Driven: You support your simple solutions with clear arguments, focused on the (architectural) principles, and explain why your proposed directions are the best choice for the long term within Pensions.

Strategic Thinking: You apply the Reduce, Reuse, Buy, Build principle:

• Reduce: Do we really need to do this?
• Reuse: Do we already have it within NN Group? Can we reuse it?
• Buy: Is it possible to buy and integrate it?
• Build: As a last option, we build it ourselves

Development of Best Practices: You develop and implement patterns and best practices that are applied both within Pension and beyond, and you actively contribute to the improvement and innovation of our architecture and technologies.

• Salary between € 7.413.- and € 10.590.- (based on 40 hours per week) depending on your knowledge and experience. It is also possible to work 36 or 38 hours per week
• 13th month and holiday allowance are paid with your monthly salary

Who you are

As a versatile architect, you possess excellent communication skills and are able to effectively engage with stakeholders, developers, and other parties. You are not afraid to push boundaries in discussions, always prioritizing the project's interests.

In your role, you create designs and architectural guidelines that have a significant impact, while understanding and simplifying the complexity of our IT and business process landscape. As a team player, you enjoy interacting with other professionals and excel in stakeholder management, both within and outside the team.

With a proven track record in cross-functional work, you are capable of achieving shared goals and objectives. You have an analytical mind and stay updated on the latest IT developments in the market, allowing you to always respond to new opportunities and challenges.

Furthermore, you have knowledge of and experience in:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a (Domain) Architect with a proven track record in changing and improving the IT landscape
• Experience in developing architectures for both systems of records and systems of engagement
• Knowledge of and experience in pension environments is a plus
• Ability to mentor and coach Domain Architects and Tech Leads within teams
• Familiarity with common architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and architecture languages like ArchiMate
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Creative, solution-oriented, and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to translate ideas into concrete architectural artifacts
• Knowledge of modern cloud and development environments; experience with languages such as Javascript, Typescript, Outsystems, Java, and SAP is seen as a plus

Who you will work with

You will find yourself in a dynamic environment where you collaborate with other architects within Life & Pensions, the Architecture Manager to whom you report, and work closely with the CIO, IT manager, Group IT, and business executives of various transformation programs. You play an active role in the architecture community and the overall NN architecture guild.
