Do you like to step into the role of Senior Program Manager at our Change Management Office of ICS? Lead transformative initiatives in the ICS unit, managing intricate programs with strategic importance. Oversee scope, resources, and risks while guiding dynamic teams. Engage stakeholders and ensure seamless progress - your expertise will drive impactful change.

Your job

As Senior Program Manager, you are part of the Change Management Office department within the Product Solutions & Control unit of ICS and you report directly to the Head of Change Management Office. In your role as Senior Program Manager, you are responsible for:

  • Management and control of complex and larger (change) programs within ICS (A program includes multiple projects or components with high strategic relevance, exposure and/or complexity
  • Scope management/determining objectives, deliverables and frameworks of the program
  • Drawing up the value case in collaboration with project sponsor and Finance. 
  • Timely start-up (pre-)CRA, CLA, etc.
  • Realize detailed program planning. Drawing up and realizing DOD, approach and (resource) planning for the entire program
  • Timely assurance of resources and capacity to achieve project goals
  • Identify, assess, mitigate and manage program risks
  • Monitoring the progress of the program, identifying (threatening) deviations from the plan and taking corrective measures
  • Progress monitoring and reporting (within the program, Change org, Board and stakeholder field)
  • Team leadership: Lead and motivate the program team
  • Stakeholder management towards stakeholders and influencers / ensuring involvement and necessary support
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders about progress, risks and decisions related to the project
  • Quality management and assurance within the program

Per October ‘24 the new governance of ICS will be in place. A new department Product, Solutions & Control (PSC) will be introduced. This department will consist of 6 domains who are highly interconnected and need to work together with all other departments of ICS, ABN AMRO, and other relevant stakeholders. The following domains are within PSC: Products, generic processes, change management, data management, risk & regulations, and client integrity.

Your profile

  • Master's degree; work and thinking level
  • At least 15 years of work experience, preferably in financial services
  • Proven experience in managing and directing complex programs (lead time ~12 months or longer)
  • Excellent oral and written skills, both in Dutch and English
  • Authority in the area of expertise of project management
  • Experience with and knowledge of Change Management and Project Management.
  • Experience with and knowledge of Agile and SAFE way of working and methodologies

Furthermore:

  • The gross monthly salary (min. Eur. 7.896 - max. Eur. 11.279) is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. A 40-hour work week is also possible. Salary determination and salary level is based on the knowledge, experience and potential you bring.
  • The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
  • Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
  • Personal development Budget of € 1,000 per year, which you can accumulate up to € 3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (in consultation with your team).
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands.
  • An excellent pension scheme.
